The Saints have signed 27-year old cornerback Jabari Greer to a 4-year contract.  Greer played in 10 games with the Bills last season and he made 37 tackles, defensed 7 passes and he intercepted 2 passes that he returned for TDs.  Greer has now played in 70 games in his NFL career and he has made 155 tackles, defensed 27 passes, has 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble and he has intercepted 4 passes (2 returned for TDs).  Greer adds good depth to the cornerback position for the Saints.

The New Orleans Saints re-sign Devery Henderson

The Saints have re-signed 26-year old WR Devery Henderson.  Henderson is the home run hitter of the Saints’ receivers as his speed is unmatched.  Henderson played in all 16 games for the Saints last season and he caught 32 passes for 793 yards (24.8 avg) with 3 TD grabs.  He also carried the ball 4 times for 33 yards (8.3 ypc) last year.  Henderson has now played in 60 games over his 4 years with the Saints and he has caught 106 passes for 2,290 yards (21.6 avg) with 14 TD receptions.  He has also carried the football 9 times for 76 yards (8.4 ypc) with 1 TD run in his career.  This was a good move for the Saints as Drew Brees loves throwing the ball deep to Henderson.
