I just checked out NBC’s SNF site, www.sundaynightisfootballnight.com, and they have a ton of cool stuff. Wallpaper, widgets, multimedia. You can look at New Orleans food, and facts about Reggie. They also have Madden, Michaels and Collinsworth talking about the Saints match ups. You should go see it, because the site is great!

The New Orleans Saints place special teams ace Steve Gleason on Injured Reserve

The Saints have placed defensive back Steve Gleason on the Injured Reserve List thus ending his season.  Gleason played in 15 games last season and he made 16 tackles.  He has been having trouble in his recovery from microfracture surgery that he had after last season.  The Saints are a deep team now and they shouldn’t have much of a problem replacing him on special teams.

The New Orleans Saints sign linebacker Dhani Jones

The Saints have signed outside linebacker Dhani Jones and they will give him a chance to compete for a starting job.  He played in all 16 games for the Eagles last season and he made 76 tackles, had 1/2 a sack and defensed 5 passes.  Jones has played in 95 games in his NFL career and he has made 446 tackles, has 4 sacks, 4 interceptions, defensed 22 passes, forced a fumble and recovered 4 fumbles.Â
