Saints give away game in early stages and lose 35-22
To put in simply…..the Ravens kicked the Saints butt! Drew Brees completed 24 of 45 passes for 383 yards with 3 TDs and 3 INT (two of which were returned for TDs)! Reggie Bush injured himself in the game, but really didn’t do much before he got hurt, carrying the ball 5 times for 16 yards. Deuce McAllister only carried the ball 5 times for 11 yards. Rookie WR Marques Colston had another big game, catching 6 passes for 163 yards and 2 TDs. Joe Horn caught 5 passes for 126 yards and a TD. TE Mark Campbell chipped in 4 catches for 42 yards.
Safety Omar Stoutmire led the way on defense with 11 tackles. The Ravens ran the ball 39 times for 137 yards (3.5 ypc) against the Saints. The Ravens completed 17 of 23 passes for 156 net yards passing.Â
The Saints need to play better than this if they have any plans on making the playoffs.

As I continue to say, defense wins superbowls. The saints gaved up 35 points. That will not put you in the superbowl, especially from a team like the ravens which do not have offense power. The saints turned over the ball too many times as well. The saints are no where in site to be a superbowl contender. They are superbowl pretenders. Regards of the turnovers, you have to suck up air and continue to play great defense in order to be superbowl contenders.
The defense didn’t give up 35 points….they gave up 21 and Drew Brees gave them the other 14. The Saints are playing over their heads and have been all season. No matter how far they go, they are so much better than last season and that should make Saints fans everywhere happy.
I jus would like to know why, does David John keep talking about the Super Bowl? People just worried bout the playoffs period. No one has even suggested Super Bowl. So, why do you keep talking about it.
