Saints vs. Falcons

Who would have thought this would be a battle for NFC South Supremecy?  Not me!

The Falcons will try to unleash their power running attack on the Saints and control the clock.  Warrick Dunn (266 rushing yards), Jerious Norwood (111 rushing yards) and QB Michael Vick (175 rushing yards) are setting the NFL on fire by averaging 279 yards rushing per game and 6.1 yards per carry!  The Saints’ defense has been very good against the run this season (74 yards per game, 3.5 yards per carry) so something will have to give here.  If Vick lulls the Saints pass defense to sleep, he might try taking a shot deep to WR Michael Jenkins (5 rec, 92 yards).

Look for the Saints to try to get a quick lead passing the ball.  If the Saints can do that, they can then pound the ball with RB Deuce McAllister and eat the clock.  Everyone is so focused on the Falcons that RB/WR Reggie Bush could sneak up on everyone and have his first break-out game.  Look for the Saints early in the game to use 3 and 4 receiver sets with Reggie Bush (15 rec, 120 yds), Marques Colston (8 rec, 107 yds), Joe Horn (7 rec, 113 yards) and Devery Henderson (6 rec, 95 yards).

I think the Saints will win this game for the city of New Orleans!  Atlanta will leave points on the field like they did last week and it will hurt them!

Go get ‘em Saints! I want Reggie Bush to score 2 TDs tonight and rush for over 100 yards! I want Drew Brees to throw for two TDs!

I live in Texas and the Oilers was my team till Bum Phillips went to N.O. and my heart went with him. I said then I wouldn’t die till the Saints won the S.B. I’m 68 now and am 20 years older than my brother when he died and 8 older than my dad when he died. Looks like it may be over for me too folks. I may not be here for next season but that’s O.K. too. The first thing I’m gonna do is tell my dad and brother “I TOLD YOU SO”
